STANDARDIZED TESTS
As with other areas, standardized tests play a role in the art application, and high scores will broaden your opportunities. However, an eye-catching portfolio can compensate for lower scores and will draw attention from the admissions officers
ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE
Art students face a heavy workload which may include several projects on top of attending classes. A strong academic background is essential to show that you will thrive and excel in the art program.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Even for a prospective art student, diverse interests and extracurricular activities will make you a stronger candidate. Furthermore, a broad set of abilities and experiences will provide inspiration for your future artwork!
